Your memories of FFVII
Shane Barrett
Mine would have to be staying at [my friend’s] house every weekend playing this till midnight and playing it without knowing how great this game would be! A great memory from the game is either: going to Cosmo Canyon for the first time and hearing the theme music or the random encounters with Yuffie! Such awesome memories.

I was a kid when I first played so everything holds nostalgia, but a funny thing I remember is being so absorbed fighting Gi Nattak one day that I was stood up near the TV. I then walked backwards to where a chair would normally be and sat on our Christmas tree, pulling it down on top of me.
Matthew Egee
Killing Demonwall the first time after watching my friend fail miserably at it on his own game the week prior. Take that Ben, I surpassed you.
@ChazMeister88
I must have been 8 or 9 years old, when my older cousin put this on and left me to my own devices, the opening scene was just mesmerising! It was the first PlayStation game I had ever seen, my jaw just dropped in awe.

Too many moments to name for me. Emotionally on many levels – especially the music. If I had to pick, I would say the Midgar portion as it set the scene for everything. It’s my favourite game in the world.

When the camera follows the cable car and you’re suddenly hit by the lights and sounds of The Gold Saucer.

When you first leave Midgar I thought I must only have a few hours of gameplay left and disc one must surely be ending soon how wrong I was and a whole world was revealed to me.
Wayne Ralph
The Nibelheim theme still haunts my dreams.

Finally earning the Knights of the Round summoning legitimately on my 2nd play through after using a cheat disc to unlock them all on my first run as I was new to JRPGs back then and didn’t know what to do properly.

Looking at Sephiroth through the flames is the iconic image for me.
