Over the last few decades she has remained a fan favourite despite this, but the way she was sidelined was always odd as she’s an important strand within the narrative thread of the homeland, Wutai, and overdue the chance to lead her own adventure.

An elite ninja operative, she’s equally skilled at both long- and close-range combat. Equipped with a giant throwing to say the least. Collaborating with Avalanche HQ, the pair are assisted by a slew of Remake recruits, who you can get to know on the opposite page. As well as them, the Intergrade rerelease will reintroduce at least one familiar face from the wider Compilation of Final Fantasy VII – Weiss The Immaculate. This impressively boasts a blade almost as long as the spikes of his ’do, and fans will best know him as one of the Big Bads from PS2 third-person shooter Dirge Of Cerberus. A member of the elite SOLDIER group known as the Tsviets, he’s an extremely powerful adversary. Originally intended to be a secret boss in the PS4 version of the game, the full scope of his role in Remake remains to be seen.
