If the shoe fits…

Dripping with classy branding […] the bots are most likely scooping them off the Nike website as you read this.

This one’s been running through our dreams since it was revealed. The latest collaboration between PlayStation, Nike, and LA Clippers’ Paul George is a celebration of PlayStation 5 from tag-tip to toe. The new PG 5 PlayStation 5 colourway is out now.

Sony and Nike have become dab hands at these shoe designs, with previous PG 2.5 x PlayStation a perfect way for your feet to show some love for the original console. This new trainer continues the tradition with references to both the new PS5 console and the DualSense, as well as PlayStation’s heritage pronounced in the design. Nike even drafted in PS5’s acclaimed hardware designer, Yujin Morisawa, to partner with the sports apparel’s own artists and Paul George to create something that feels like the new-gen console in motion.

We love the small details, such as the pattern of PlayStation symbols that coat the heel and run the down the side of the shoe. The idea is to reference the appearance of the DualSense controller and the industrial characteristics of the curvy console itself; hardware on your feet.

White with flashes of blue, and featuring both the PlayStation and Paul George logos on the tongues, these trainers are dripping with classy branding. So much so, the bots are most likely scooping them off the Nike website as you read this. Of course we joke, but really, if you’re looking to pick up a pair of these shoes you may need to be patient with the online stores. Buying an actual PS5 is hard enough; if you want to catch the PG 5 PlayStation 5 colourways you’re going to need to be fast.
