Wearing its Final Fantasy inspirations on its sleeve, this French-developed RPG has been in early access for some time, and finally nears the finish line for full release. It centres on siblings Daryon and Selene, a soldier and priestess respectively, who seek to rid their word of the Corrosion. The large world you quest across is rather pretty, and can be explored on a large cat-like mount, a little like FFXV. Battles, however, are turn-based. It’s an impressive accomplishment for the small team, if a little rough around the edges – the heart it has is endearing. Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles composer Yasunori Mitsuda even did the soundtrack to lend it that JRPG authenticity.
