Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance

Not very elfy online

- Luke Kemp

Things were shonky when this game launched, but it was possible to squeeze some fun out of it. That remains the case, but, despite a handful of updates, the online portion of the experience is worse than it was before. Whether through a dropoff in players or worsening netcode, finding a game is harder. Battle through long waits and disconnections and you’ll find that people are still playing, but most of them engage in joyless runs straight to the boss in one of two stages, grinding character levels. It’s nice to support and be supported by others, but there are other adventures more worthy of your time.
