SEEING DOUBLE

Deathloop is set to play astonishingly smoothly. Earlier Arkane games like Dishonored 2 could only achieve 30 frames per second on average on PS4, but thanks to the power of PS5 Deathloop will run at double that to deliver a rock-solid 60fps. Such silky visuals would be exciting enough on their own, true, but the game will also run simultaneously in 4K – we’re being spoiled.

This is in contrast to other PS5 exclusives like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, which forces players to choose between quality mode, performance mode, and an aesthetic option somewhere in between. No such compromises will be made when Deathloop launches on PS5, as 4K/60fps visuals will be possible, giving Colt’s adventure a dynamism not seen in most other PS5 shooters to date. The next-gen promise is fulfilled!
