It’s easy to update your preferences on PS5. Rather than pick subtitle or difficulty options at the start of every game, you can set up presets. Open the Settings menu, then look under Saved Data and Game/App Settings. Game Presets allows you to set default settings for new games – for difficulty modes, subtitles, camera movement axis, and even whether that swish PS5 exclusive boots up in Performance or Resolution mode. If one of your PlayStation besties is a spoiler fiend, the Spoiler Warnings tab allows you to set up alerts in case they post a screenshot of something you haven’t seen yet.
