Jett: The Far Shore
Strangers in a strange land

Whenever we take to the air in our hands-on, the camera pulls way out to emphasise our place within this unexplored unknown. Surging through deep ravines, across vast oceans, and occasionally away from alien wildlife by holding down we never lose sight of the titular aircraft thanks to its long contrail.
A SHORE THING

But as these explorers attempt to lay down roots with thought and care for the planet’s own pre-existing ecosystem, our initial sense of wonder gives way to something else.
As Mei and her fellow pilots prepare to venture towards Tor – a peak that looms in the background under the pink and purple sky throughout all our preliminary excursions on the planet’s surface – a sense of foreboding builds. Mei’s co-pilot Isao spots a strange ľxfwxdwlrq#lq#wkh#K|pqzdyh1#Wklv# interstellar calling card is partly what beckoned Mei’s people across the stars, consistently maintaining its melody across many, many years. But now it’s changing, and Mei’s dreams that night foretell an even greater shift to come. Faith and knowledge, dreams and reality partner up in a mesmerising thematic dance as we come to the end of our hands-on, and we can’t wait for more.
IMPRESSIONS
“SURGING THROUGH RAVINES, WE NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE TITULAR AIRCRAFT.”
Between its beautiful looks, atmospheric score, and, of course, the Jett itself, we’re eager to lift off. We’ll do so later this year.
