FORMAT PS4 / ETA 9 NOV PUB BANDAI NAMCO DEV AARDMAN, DIGIXART As far as real-world wars go, videogames do a bit of a Basil Fawlty job of it, never able to move on from shooty bang-bang adaptations. Lately, however, things have become a bit more reflective, and 11-11 does a great job at telling a much more introspective, low-key war story set during WW1. With a soft, watercolour art style, it’s stunning to look at. The plot revolves around a Canadian photographer and a German technician, giving you a picture of both sides of the conflict, and the unpleasantness endured by all those involved.
