Amazon Game Studios has been testing the waters of game development for a while now, but nothing seems to make as much sense as tying into one of its hottest Amazon Prime properties: The Grand Tour. And that’s what the studio’s doing with its new game.

In case you were unaware, The Grand Tour is the new home of the three racing blokes previously known for Top Gear. Yes, it’s a car show, but Amazon has taken over paying the tab for the large-scale silly antics and lad banter between hosts Clarkson, Hammond, and May, rather than licence payers.

Heading into the third season of the TV show, The Grand Tour Game has been announced to tie directly into the series. Racing games aren’t usually episodic, but this one will have new entries released weekly to go hand in hand with the show, as an extension rather than a spinoff. Whether this is for you depends on how appealing you find “hours” of voice acting from the hosts. Nevertheless cars, locations, and challenges from all seasons makes for a lot of content. Four-player split-screen brings the bants to life, and it even has silly kart-racery power-ups like weaponised tea.

Now you can hear Jeremy Clarkson’s distinctive voice as you race on your PS4.

Apparently if you skid off the track in the game, Hammond poos himself.
