BBQ with flavour!
Great barbecue flavour no longer has to be exclusively charcoal or gas powered, with leading barbecue brand Weber® delivering a brand-new electric barbecue. The PulseTM incorporates new iGrill® smart technology and delivers a real barbecue experience and flavour.
The revolutionary electric barbecue which comes in two sizes is a “no compromise” product according to Weber executives. They said that owners can utilise two heat zones on the larger Pulse 2000, quickly searing a steak while cooking a dish over a lower heat simultaneously.
Designed from the ground up and featuring all new temperature control technology, it makes relaxing over a drink while watching the barbecue a lot easier. The Pulse displays real time grill temperature, as well as tracking the progress of your food as it cooks to perfection through the integrated iGrill app which can be loaded onto a smartphone or tablet.
How this works is that after downloading the app and pairing it with your new Pulse, you can monitor the progress of your cook using iGrill meat probes, and get alerts for when the food is cooked to your desired result.
The actual barbecue looks smart and comes with porcelain coated cast iron cooking grills and the power to cook at temperatures up to 300°C.
The grills hold and conduct high heat evenly, you’ll have what Weber describes as “Amazing sear marks and caramelisation on your favourite cuts of meat.”
A built-in grease management system automatically funnels grease and debris away from the heating element, allowing for easy clean-up.
For further ease of use, the front control panel disconnects for easy access, doubling to provide more efficient storage and protection when your barbecue is not in use. The Pulse’s high lid allows for larger cuts of meat like roasts and whole poultry to be barbecued with ease.
The Pulse is available in two sizes – the compact Pulse 1000, and the larger Pulse 2000. With two heat zones and a grill space of 1911cm2 on the Pulse 2000, you have the flexibility to split your cooking area; on one searing steak on high heat, while on the other, your side dish cooks over a lower heat.
