The Walkie-Talkie Reimagined
Milo is the action communicator wearable device which enables simple, multi-way group conversations – transforming experiences for outdoor adventurers on the trails, slopes or water.
By just clipping Milo to a pocket, handlebars, helmet, or onto an armband, a group can talk at a conversational volume, hands-free and phone-free.
Milo is engineered to allow voice communication at up to 2000ft and 600m between any two Milo nodes in one group, plus a long-range mode of over 1.6km.
The devices are not dependant on Wi-Fi or a cell signal, as Milo establishes its own network.
It also offers audible notifications such as “Sam is about to go out-of-range” or “Alex has joined the group” when the user isn't speaking and Milo is integrated in a water-proof IP67-rated palm-sized design to deliver high-quality, natural conversation.
AQIPA has been named the global distributor for Milo, with shipment expected in December.
A two-pack Milo costs $320 (about 36% off the retail price of US$498). A three-pack costs $450, and a fourpack costs $550. A single radio will cost $170.
