Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

THE future is looking brighter for the Mossman and District Gymnastics Club.

After two years of insecurity, the club has signed a contract to purchase their current home at Pinjarra Place.

Club manager Hayley Bender is calling on the support of the local community to help them reach their ultimate goal of $500,000.

Donations would assist the club to secure finances and renovations.

The club almost had to close its doors after more than 50 years and are struggling to meet demands as membership numbers grow.

Ms Bender hopes the community will get behind them to ensure they can continue to operate.

As a non-profit club, profits are minimal.
