Car expo to rev up cash for char­ity

REVHEADS can show off their pride and joy at the Moss­man Lions Club Mo­tor­ing Expo next Satur­day, Oc­to­ber 13.

Ex­otic cars, mo­tor­bikes and trac­tors of all shapes, colours and sizes will be on dis­play at the Moss­man Show­grounds for the whole fam­ily to en­joy.

Or­gan­iser Alan John­stone said the in­au­gu­ral event went so well last year they just had to bring it back.

“The whole aim is to try and make it big­ger and brighter in the name of lo­cal char­i­ties,” he said.

“We’re hope­ful we will get some ex­otic cars, lovely clas­sics, and vin­tage cars and a truck or two. There are heaps of prizes in 20 dif­fer­ent cat­e­gories to be won, you can just bring you car along on the day, gates open 6.30am.”

There will be rides for the kids and en­ter­tain­ment by Bod­ies In Mo­tion. En­try is $5, un­der 16 is free, break­fast by lo­cal SES vol­un­teers.
