Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - NEWS -

A MOSSMAN resident was lucky to escape without injury on Saturday after a home was rammed by a vehicle.

The tenant described the incident, alleged to have occurred around 1am, as ‘sounding like a bomb went off’. The car fled the scene.

Constable Kim Demarte from Mossman Police said officers were pleading for witnesses to come forward.

“The tenants were lucky the vehicle didn’t drive straight into the house,” he said.

The vehicle is likely to have significant damage. Anyone with details should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
