Port Douglas & Mossman Gazette - - OPINION -

AH, Christmas. It seems to arrive earlier every year. For most, it’s a time to unwind and reflect surrounded by family. For me, it usually begins with the realisation I still haven’t bought a single present for anyone, yet again.

However you are starting your Christmas break I want to take this opportunity to thank you, our readers, for a bumper 2018. It has been a busy year with some interesting opportunities, but it’s 2019 that promises to be the most important in decades. All eyes are fixed on the progress of Crystalbrook’s Port Douglas marina plans and the Mossman Mill bioprecinct project, to name just two. We look forward to bringing you all the latest news and developments, along with introducing some fresh content both in print and online next year. The first paper back is January 10 with the office closed from Friday December 21 to January 7. On behalf of the team I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Travel safe.
