Prioritise toilets for Cott beach

POST Newspapers - - Letters To The Post - Francesca Wray Earls Court, Mt Claremont

I cannot understand the policies, or lack of policies, regarding the provision and maintenance of facilities for the basic needs of visitors to Cottesloe beach.

I wonder how other councils organise the maintenance of their public amenities – most beaches have splendid and very clean facilities.

In my view, the problem with Cottesloe council seems to be poor decision-making in regard to toilets and carparks.

When will it build a new facility in Cottesloe and ensure that visitors are well catered for?

Take the money allocated for greening an essential carpark and spend it on new toilets and changerooms.

Abolishing balloons and plastic straws may be important to some, but toilets are essential for human needs.

Please decide what to do, and do it quickly.
