’Tis the sea­son for li­brary fun

Mt Clare­mont and Ned­lands li­braries have a va­ri­ety of Christ­mas events this month.

Fa­ther Christ­mas and his elf will lead Ned­lands li­brary’s last sto­ry­time for the year from 10.30 to 11.30am on De­cem­ber 13, with Christ­mas sto­ries and fes­tive songs to get into the spirit of the sea­son.

From 10.30 to 11.30am on De­cem­ber 18, chil­dren aged six to 12 can make Christ­mas wreaths for their front doors at The Com­mu­nity Hive in the Mt Clare­mont li­brary and com­mu­nity cen­tre.

All ma­te­ri­als are pro­vided for the free event – book at ned­lands. evanced.info/signup.

Once all your Christ­mas shop­ping is done and the presents are wrapped, re­lax with a free Christ­mas film for ages four and over at Ned­lands li­brary from 2 to 4pm on De­cem­ber 23.

Snacks will be pro­vided but BYO Christ­mas hat and there is no need to book.
