you’re look­ing for gifts this year that are unique, hand-crafted and, more im­por­tantly, lo­cal, here are a few city mar­kets to try:

Christ­mas in the QV1 Plaza

Perth Mak­ers Mar­ket is hold­ing a pop-up mar­ket in the QV1 Plaza from 11am to 3pm Tues­day to Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 11 to 13.

If you’re in the city for shop­ping, or to work, you can head to QV1 to shop for some su­perb hand­made gifts and grab a bite to eat from the gourmet food stalls.

QV1 is at 200 St Ge­orge’s Ter­race.

Euro­pean Christ­mas Mar­ket

There’ll be a tra­di­tional Euro­pean-style Christ­mas mar­ket in Cathe­dral Square from noon to 7pm this Satur­day and next, De­cem­ber 8 and 15.

Browse the stalls sell­ing fresh pro­duce, gourmet de­lights, craft gifts, home­wares and chil­dren’s items. And stick around af­ter the event to view the Christ­mas pro­jec­tions on St Ge­orge’s Cathe­dral,

Perth Home Grown

Ev­ery Sun­day in the Mur­ray Street Mall, the reg­u­lar Perth Home Grown mar­ket has fresh pro­duce and gourmet treats.

Over the fes­tive sea­son, there will also be stalls sell­ing hand­made gifts and de­li­cious Christ­mas treats, in­clud­ing cakes and gin­ger­bread.

The stalls are in the mall from 11am to 4pm on Sun­days.

For unique hand-crafted and lo­cally sourced gifts, Christ­mas mar­kets are one-stop shops.start­ing at 7.30pm.
