Well, it’s still here. Cube kindly let me continue to ride the Litening until my 2014 test bike gets here. A recent service revealed that heavy use is catching up with it and if it weren’t about to go back then a proper overhaul would be due before the race season. The headset bearings have finally succumbed to the relentless water and grime from UK roads, and there is a bit of play in the freehub, but that’s not stopping me giving it one last hurrah on a brief trip to Italy where its climbing abilities can be put to good use. It’ll be a hard act to follow.
