Spanish sees !irst success in Norway
Eduard Prades took the biggest victory of his career and gave the Tour of Norway its firstever Spanish victor. Prades’s last win came in 2016 at the Philadelphia Cycling Classic, but the 30-year-old has looked strong all spring, finishing runner-up at the Tour de Yorkshire before heading to Norway, where consistency was key to his win. Dylan Groenewegen won three bunch sprints, while Edvald Boasson Hagen took the stage 2 win. On the final day, Prades was one of three riders who escaped with 20km to go. Dane Alexander Kamp took the stage, but Prades took the GC win by three seconds.
