Span­ish sees !irst suc­cess in Nor­way

Ed­uard Prades took the big­gest vic­tory of his ca­reer and gave the Tour of Nor­way its firstever Span­ish vic­tor. Prades’s last win came in 2016 at the Philadel­phia Cy­cling Clas­sic, but the 30-year-old has looked strong all spring, fin­ish­ing run­ner-up at the Tour de York­shire be­fore head­ing to Nor­way, where con­sis­tency was key to his win. Dy­lan Groe­newe­gen won three bunch sprints, while Ed­vald Boas­son Ha­gen took the stage 2 win. On the fi­nal day, Prades was one of three riders who es­caped with 20km to go. Dane Alexan­der Kamp took the stage, but Prades took the GC win by three sec­onds.
