Adrien Costa, after he had his leg amputated above the knee following a climbing accident. The 20-year- old was one of America’s brightest cycling talents, but he chose to take an inde inite break from the sport in 2017. A $100,000 target was initially set to help fund Costa’s rehabilitation, but it was passed in 13 days.
