Primož Roglic, yellow jersey Geraint Thomas and Tom Dumoulin stick together tightly on the steep slopes of the Col de Portet. Third-placed Chris Froome was the biggest-name rider to succumb to the climb's #ierce gradients when he was dropped with around 2km remaining. The last part of the 16km climb had never been used in the Tour before and was the highest point of this year's race, at 2,215m. It was also the climax to the shortest mountain stage in recent Tour memory, which was just 65km long.
