BRONZINI’S TOP RACE MOMENTS
2004
After winning titles on the track as an U23 rider, Bronzini secures her irst professional victory on the road aged 21, at the Damesronde van Drenthe in Holland.
2005
On her Giro Rosa race debut, Bronzini showcases her credentials as one of the fastest riders in the peloton by winning three stages from bunch sprints, along with the points jersey classi ication.
2007
Signs with Italian squad Sa i-Pasta Zara and wins eight races that season, including two stages at the Trophée d’Or Féminin and the Giro della Toscana.
2009
Goes back to her roots on the track and wins a debut rainbow jersey, securing the win in the points race at the Track World Championships.
2010
Wins the world title on the road, in a frantic inal sprint in Geelong, Australia. Beats favourite Marianne Vos and Emma Johansson in the uphill sprint.
2011
Retains her world road race title in Copenhagen, Denmark, again beating Vos into second in the sprint for the line on the pan- lat course.
2013
Headlines the WiggleHonda team when it launches and enjoys the most proli ic season of her career, winning 14 races
2015
Wins the Chongming Island round of the World Cup series, after a perfect lead-out from her team. It’s one of three victories that year.
2016
Despite not winning as frequently as earlier in her career, Bronzini proves that she is still one of the fastest in the bunch as she adds another two stage wins at the Giro Rosa.
2018
Bronzini wins the Madrid Challenge on her inal race before retirement. It’s a typically tactical win, after she bridged to a breakaway before winning the sprint for the line.
