2017

Makes his Tour debut and becomes the first Slovenian to win a stage. Crosses the line solo after getting into the early break in the Alpine stage to Serre Chevalier, and dropping everybody.

2018

Wins nine races including the GC titles at Romandie, Basque Country and Slovenia. Never finishes outside the top 10 at a stage race he starts to make him one of the most consistent GC riders.

2018

Co-leads at the Tour with Steven Kruijswijk. Wins a stage with a solo attack in the Pyrenees, but has to settle for fourth in Paris after narrowly falling off the podium on the stage 20 TT.

2019

2019

He lines up at the Vuelta as the rider to beat. Even with crashes and chaos in crosswinds, once Roglič takes red with a win in the TT he holds on to claim Slovenia’s first grand tour win.
