After the coming-of-age Giro d’Italia win for Tao Geoghegan Hart, there is a new wave of youthful optimism flowing through the Ineos Grenadiers. The signing of Adam Yates and Daniel Martínez and the return of Richie Porte further bolster the British team’s grand tour prospects in both support and leadership roles, if that was even possible. Their most intriguing signing though is Tom Pidcock, who is a multifaceted supertalent. These acquisitions, alongside the current strength in depth of the roster with Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal, mean the team could easily line up an entire eight-man team of grand tour contenders.
