TEAM BIKEEXCHANGE
2020 World Ranking 3 Established 2013 Team Manager Shayne Bannan Bike Bianchi
2021 is set to be an altogether different looking season for the Australian squad, and not just because they’ve changed from MitcheltonScott to Team BikeExchange and swapped their Scott bikes for celeste Bianchis. For the first time in five years, the squad will be racing without talisman Annemiek van Vleuten. The Dutchwoman’s departure leaves the door open for others who have perhaps been overshadowed by her dominance in recent years. Amanda Spratt, for example, winner of Emakumeen Bira and Down Under will take the reins as GC leader, while Grace Brown, winner of Brabantse Pijl, will lead at the classics. The team’s new signing Teniel Campbell, the six-foot tall Trinidadian who steps up to the WorldTour from Valcar, is one of the most exciting riders in the peloton, and has her eyes on the classics.
