Apart from the name and kit change, the German team formerly known as Sunweb remains largely as it was in 2020. The team continues to focus on developing riders - only three of their 13 this year are over age 25 - and one of their two new signings is American teenager and junior road world champion, Megan Jastrab. The investment in young talent is paying off, as the team’s five wins last year almost matched 2019’s total despite half of the race days. Among their stand-out riders is German Liane Lippert, 22, who was a consistent high performer in the peloton last year, and Floortje Mackaij, 25. The pair will be a threat in the Ardennes races. Lorena Wiebes, 21, is rapidly becoming the fastest rider in the world, alongside the more established Coryn Rivera. The team have two of the top sprint talents in their arsenal.
