Riders from cycling’s most successful team tap out the pre-season miles at a training camp on the Costa Blanca. Deceuninck- Quick Step have maintained an extraordinary record in recent years - they have topped the table of wins by team every season since 2013, and even in 2012 they were pipped by one single victory by Team Sky. With Sam Bennett entering his peak years now, Remco Evenepoel hoping to pick up where he left off before crashing out of Il Lombardia and Julian Alaphilippe wearing the rainbow jersey, plus a deep squad, it’s unlikely that the team will stop winning any time soon. They’re not the most stacked team in the WorldTour, however - 10 of their riders are in the current top 100 on procyclingstats.com, which is more than most, but level with UAE Emirates and two fewer than Ineos Grenadiers. However, when it comes to crossing the line first, Deceuninck have been the best for many years.
