Fran Ventoso has retired from professional cycling after failing to find a new contract for 2021. The Spaniard, 38, who last raced for CCC, began his career at Saunier Duval- Prodir in 2004 and spent six years with Movistar. Ventoso won two Giro stages and started 18 grand tours.
