Stefan Denifl, the former IAM Cycling and Aqua Blue rider, was handed a two-year prison sentence by an Austrian court, for serious commercial fraud relating to doping during his time as a professional cyclist. Sixteen months of the sentence are suspended. Denifl was investigated as part of Operation Aderlass and is the first rider to be given jail time as a result.
