TOUR DU FINISTÈRE 22 May | France | 1.1

The Finistere region of Brittany derived its name from the Latin word meaning ‘end of the earth’, as beyond it lies miles of the Atlantic Ocean. The Tour du Finistère might not be as sinister sounding as that, but it does feature all the character of a typical Breton race: wind, winding, narrow roads, and lots of short hills. Starting and ending in Quimper, the race is part of the Coupe de France, and unsurprisingly is a favourite of French riders and teams.
