LATE SEASON WALLONIAN RACING
GRAND PRIX DE WALLONIE 15 Sep | Belgium | 1.Pro
The Grand Prix de Wallonie is a late-season cousin of the Ardennes classics. Held on a punchy course that favours riders like Jasper Stuyven and Greg van Avermaet, the Wallonian race finishes with a climb up to the Citadel of Namur, in the city of the same name. The citadel links the city with the other famous cycling cities of Huy and Liège, both of whom also have important Walloon fortresses.
