RACING FOR GERMAN UNITY
SPARKASSEN MÜNSTERLAND GIRO 3 October | Germany | 1.Pro
The Münsterland Giro has a historic tie-in thanks to the day that it usually falls on, October 3. This has been celebrated as German Unity Day since 1990, the day on which formal reunification between West and East Germany took place. Half the editions have been won by German riders, which is apt on a day of unity in the country, though we can expect less collaboration in the winning break.
