Crafting a creative space

-

When it was time to overhaul its workplace, this creative agency turned to Staples to create a dynamic commercial space.

Having more than doubled in size in less than a year, Sydney-based creative agency We Are Unity was in urgent need of a new place to call home. Not afraid of a challenge, the company chose an old warehouse in Sydney’s Surry Hills. “It looked a little worse for wear but we saw the soaring ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows and knew it could be perfect,” recalls company co-founder and director Nat Cagilaba (above). With a growing staff of talented creatives and a premium client base that included large multinationals, the company knew it needed an intelligent furniture solution that would help to create a modern space with an international feel.

We Are Unity business manager Candice Staadecker says the inspiration came from the firm’s own creative team. “We needed an impressive space that would inspire visitors and also be a clean backdrop to our team’s creativity and collaboration.”

Partnering with Business Interiors, a Staples brand, was a strategic choice to help them transform the space to match their vision. “Not only does the company boast some of the most stunning and ergonomically designed furniture from around the world, it also has experienced specialists that made the entire fit-out a simple, fast and cost-effective process from start to finish,” says Staadecker. Plus, Staples provides everything to keep their workplace running, including office products, kitchen supplies, and facility and cleaning products. “Now we have a space that expresses exactly what we want our clients – and our staff – to experience.”
