Points of difference
Qantas has launched its very own credit card for Frequent Flyer members. The new Qantas Premier Mastercard has a stellar earn rate – two Qantas points per $1 spent on selected Qantas products and services, plus a bonus 60,000 points when you spend $3000 within 90 days of having your card approved (if you apply before 31 August 2017). As well as two points for every $1 spent with Qantas, you’ll earn 1.5 points per $1 spent on overseas purchases and up to 1 point per $1 on your domestic spend. There are other perks, too, including two complimentary Qantas lounge invitations per year, free travel insurance and 20 per cent off domestic companion flights once a year when you use your card to book through the Qantas Premier concierge service. Food that flies
Take a step closer to check-in by earning points at the check-out. Earn Woolworths Points for every $1 spent instore and online at Woolworths Supermarkets, BWS liquor outlets and selected Caltex-Woolworths petrol sites. Make sure you’ve opted in to convert these to Qantas Points via your Woolworths Rewards account and earn 870 Qantas Points for every 2000 Woolworths Points you collect.
In good taste
Forget going to the bottle shop – Qantas epiQure has an excellent selection of wines and champagnes to buy online. EpiQure Premium members earn three Qantas Points for each $1 spent and have their order delivered free to their front door. Bonus points can be earned on selected products.
A matter of style
More than 50 stores – including Saks Fifth Avenue, Aveda, Asos and David Jones – have virtual shopfronts at the Qantas Points Online Mall, where every dollar spent earns up to five Qantas Points. Plus, there are regular special offers such as free shipping and bonus Qantas Points. Simply log in with your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number and click through to your store.
Table manners
