2018 Business Travel Awards

Welcome to this year’s Business Travel Awards. When we began these awards in 2017, our ambition was simple: to celebrate the hotels, restaurants, corporate retreats and conference centres that go above and beyond for today’s business traveller.

The good news? There has never been a better range of choices for work trips, whether you’re looking for techfriendly or stomach-friendly options. The corporate crowd are traditionally high-spenders so it makes sense that hotels and restaurants are attempting to woo them with exceptional experiences.

The nominees for the 10 categories have been selected by the Qantas magazine and Travel Insider teams, in conjunction with our network of travel writers. The winners will be chosen by our high-flying judging panel, which includes Neil Perry, Qantas’s creative director of food, beverage and service; Glen Schlehuber, managing director, Oceania, for Tiffany & Co.; Carmen Pavlovic, CEO of production company Global Creatures; and Darren Simmons, Oceanic managing director of Acer.
