1. PARALLEL GROWTH

As EB Games has grown and its business has changed, our journey has been somewhat parallel. Originally it was B2B; it was our job to deliver products to its bricks-and-mortar stores. Today, we’re also its partner in a thriving eCommerce business. It needs network reach across metro, regional and rural areas and also speed, reliability and visibility of consignments for both B2B and B2C shipments. All of those services are simply tickets to the game in logistics and supply chains. You can’t be a partner with a company like EB Games unless you can offffer all of those.

2. CONSISTENT FLEXIBILITY

Customers need us to be able to bend with them, in line with what’s going on in their warehouses and distribution systems. So if they’re running late or have a sales spike, we need to be able to jump in and do multiple pick-ups. When EB Games is releasing a hot new product to the market, it needs timed solutions. There’s a major amount of logistics planning behind that to ensure it hits the retail outlets on the right date. In the online space, sometimes a new product is a surprise hit so we need to be flflexible to meet greater distribution needs.

3. OPEN LINES OF COMMUNICATION

There are lots of exciting startups chasing opportunities in the global eCommerce market and Australia Post and StarTrack have built a signifificant international business to help Australian companies engage with that boom. My advice to startups: bring your logistics partner into your family really early in the game. Let us understand your business and your needs and we can explain the supply chain options and what’s open to you. Together, we can both grow and evolve, as StarTrack has with EB Games. We can flflex up, down or sideways to meet your needs but only if we’re close to you and know what’s going on.
