Farm Girl
Chelsea
This super-hip eatery (thefarmgirl.co.uk) takes its name from co-owner Rose Mann, who grew up on a farm in Victoria’s Western District and owns the café with boyfriend Anthony Hood. The interiors of the new Chelsea outlet (the original is in Notting Hill) are luxe rustic: a light-filled space with white-tiled walls and hints of greenery. The food is delicious, nutritious and beautifully presented. The rose latte is lovely – served in a glass on an earthenware plate strewn with dried rose petals. There’s lots of choice for breakfast – from turmeric bircher to wilted rainbow chard and leeks on sourdough with poached eggs, goat’s cheese and za’atar. Drinks include the Liquid Gold latte with turmeric, cinnamon, astragalus and honey.
