This min­i­mal­ist café (grass­roots serves an in­no­va­tive Aus­tralian-style break­fast menu of or­ganic plant-based food. Chef and owner Peggy Chan uses sus­tain­able in­gre­di­ents in in­no­va­tive com­bi­na­tions. Try the koji smoked car­rot bagel with cashew cream cheese, cu­cum­ber, wild arugula and dill salad; poached eggs and av­o­cado with flax dukkah; or the acai berry ca­cao bowl with sprouted pump­kin seeds and cran­berry clus­ters. Book ahead as it gets busy.
