“At St Patrick’s College, we’re taught to become leaders.”

College captain Sarah Mosch says creating a brighter future for women informs almost every aspect of school life. “I feel so proud to be part of the tradition the Sisters of Mercy began,” she says. “And it really does continue today – at St Patrick’s College, we’re taught to become leaders.” Mosch says the school has all kinds of extracurriculars, from traditional Japanese drumming to the social-justice group Mercy Girls in Action, as well as a running club, which meets mornings or afternoons to take advantage of the college’s picture-perfect location. Asked about the highlights of her time at the college, Mosch points to camps, held annually in years 7 to 11, through which she’s tried out life on an outback cattle station and honed her leadership skills at a dedicated retreat. “The college has shaped me into the person I am today. I’ve been challenged academically and have made lifelong friends. “And with the support of an extraordinary teaching team, I have been encouraged to reach my potential.”
