I first went to LuMi Dining (lumidining.com) in Pyrmont, Sydney, right after it opened about six years ago and I just keep going back. Everything is amazing, from Federico Zanellato’s next-level snack game to the way he can mix Japanese and Italian cuisine so beautifully. Being a chef, I can see just how much work goes into each dish. Last time I was there we had a long, chilled-out Sunday lunch with standout dishes including his take on gunkan sushi with stracciatella and sea urchin wrapped in nori – that’s just genius.
