It gives me such joy to go to Di Stasio
Città (distasio.com.au). I sit at the bar, someone mixes me a really great drink, I ask [maitre d’] Mallory Wall to bring the snacks and they just look after me. I’m a huge fan of the baked oyster with parmesan and horseradish, and the fried anchovy and sage leaves. I’ll start with champagne and there’ll always be a Negroni or two before the end. I’ve banned my sister from booking us in for lunch because we’ll still be there at dinnertime.
