Since work at Western Australia’s Argyle diamond mine ceased in 2020, the pink, red, blue and violet gems that emerged during its 37 years of production have grown ever more significant. Debuting in the mid-1980s, the brilliantly coloured stones have inspired jewellery designers and been coveted by collectors the world over.
