Get closer to nature with experts

Cruise through Ashmore Reef on a Zodiac with a marine biologist, fly over the red sands of Koolan Island on one of Scenic Eclipse II’s helicopters* or hike through caves with preserved rock art by the Wunambal people on the 11day Discover the Kimberley Coastline tour. Leading the Discovery Team is Mike Cusack, an award-winning guide with 35 years of experience in the region, including a year living in near isolation in remote north-west Western Australia. Mike joins a team of up to 15 historians and scientists who host lectures, Q&As and guided excursions.

Taste the Kimberley with top chefs

All-inclusive means just that at Scenic Eclipse II’s 10 dining experiences. Indulge in crispy tempura prawns at Sushi @ Koko’s or dine at the invitationonly 11-course dégustation, Chef’s Table. There’s also an all-day drinks menu across the yacht’s lounges and a whisky bar with more than 130 drams. The food-obsessed should opt for the Taste of Discovery voyage, taking over the Discover the Kimberley Coastline tour from 20 May 2024. The exclusive itinerary is hosted by chef Tom Götter, Vice President Hotel Operations Scenic Group, and features a cocktail party, celebrity chef meet-andgreets with Top Chef World All-Stars’ Dale MacKay and a pop-up restaurant that champions Australian produce.

Take fishing to new heights

Three words: helicopter barramundi fishing. It’s just one of the exclusive experiences offered by Scenic through the Kimberley and involves taking off in one of the two onboard helicopters* and embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime fishing trip. After soaring over the ochre-stained region you’ll touch down in prime fishing spots selected by Scenic’s team of local experts. If you manage to reel in a fish, you can bring it back onboard to be cooked by the ship’s culinary team.
