New year res­o­lu­tions a dis­tant mem­ory? We asked five train­ers to list their tips


SO you woke up on Jan­uary 1 and said to your­self “Right, let’s get to work…new year, new ME!” You put on some gym gear and went for a jog around the block, then threw out all the junk food from the pantry. Things were go­ing great.

Fast for­ward a few weeks and for some it’s mostly a dis­tant mem­ory. You’ve gone back to work, the kids are back at school and life is so busy again that you’re strug­gling to find the time to stick to your res­o­lu­tion, but the mo­ti­va­tion is still there.

Help is at hand.

QT Mag­a­zine asked five train­ers from var­i­ous types of fit­ness gyms across Ip­swich for some sim­ple tips to help you get mo­ti­vated, maybe get started or even get back on track.
