Misunderstood Condition

Thank you for shining a spotlight in your September issue on a little-recognised condition – adult ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). After years of being deemed a ‘failure’ and ‘lazy’, a family member was diagnosed with it. Behavioural therapy and medication has made a huge difference to his day-today life and job.
