Ferdinand

Inspired by the book The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf, Ferdinand tells the story of a giant bull with a giant heart. Ferdinand is gentle, preferring to smell flowers rather than dream, like all the other bulls, of being chosen to compete in bull fights.

Based on his appearance, Ferdinand is mistaken for a dangerous and aggressive beast. He is captured from his home and the family he loves and sent to the world of arenas, red capes, matadors and fighting. Determined to return home, he rallies a team of wacky misfits to accompany him.

Directed by Carlos Saldanha (Rio) and voiced by John Cena, Ferdinand is a wonderful story of self-acceptance and choosing your own path.
