DINKY-DI SCRABBLE, ANYONE?

Australian scrabble players will now be able to accumulate extra bonus points when using local slang words while playing a new country-specific version of the popular board game. Words such as ‘arvo’ for afternoon or ‘pav’ for pavlova were crowd-sourced from all over Australia. Other acceptable words include stonkered (bewildered), flanno (checked shirt), ekka (Brisbane show), barbie (barbecue), nuddy (naked) and biffo (brawl). The top scoring word is ‘prezzy’, which would have most players licking their lips at a princely 39 points. Bonza!
