Letters

Tears came streaming down my face when I read ‘A Touching Gesture’ by Andrea Gaisa (Kindness of Strangers, February). My own difficult circumstances, like those of the writer, cause me to be quite emotional and to break down and weep. Hugs are powerful and can relieve the pain and grief temporarily. And I keep reminding myself that the bad times will be over soon and I just need to be brave now. MAEVIS C.
